Everything you need to know about getting funded with FundedOx. Clear, concise, and straight to the point.
What is a FundedOx challenge?
A FundedOx challenge is a two-step or one-step evaluation where you trade with simulated capital to prove your consistency and risk management. Pass the challenge and you get access to a funded account with real profit splits.
What are the max drawdown and daily loss limits?
2-Step Challenge: 10% max drawdown and 5% daily loss limit. 1-Step Challenge: 6% max drawdown and 3% daily loss limit.
These limits apply to both the challenge and the funded account phase.
What platforms can I trade on?
FundedOx supports MetaTrader 5 (MT5), TradingView, cTrader, and Match-Trader. You can use any of these platforms during your challenge and funded account phases.
How fast are payouts?
Most withdrawal requests are processed in under 12 hours. We don't hold your money — you've earned it, and we pay it out as quickly as possible.
What profit split do I get?
Profit splits start at 80% and go up to 90% depending on the account size. Larger accounts (e.g., $50,000) come with higher splits, rewarding consistency and scale.
What happens if I fail the challenge?
Don't worry — free retries are included with most plans. Check your specific plan terms. If you fail, you can restart with the same account size without paying the full fee again.
Can I use Expert Advisors (EAs) or trade news?
Yes! We allow EAs, news trading, and weekend holding by default on most account types. We evaluate your results, not your trading style.
How do I get a refund on my challenge fee?
Your challenge fee is refunded on your first or second payout (depending on the plan). You receive the refund as part of your profit withdrawal — so essentially, you get funded for free after you prove yourself.
Do I risk my own money?
No. You trade with simulated capital during the challenge and the funded phase. Your only risk is the challenge fee, which is refunded when you hit your first payout targets.
Can I scale up my account over time?
Absolutely. Consistent, profitable traders can scale up to larger account sizes over time. Your track record unlocks bigger capital and better splits.
Is there a minimum or maximum trading period?
There is no minimum trading period. You can pass the challenge as quickly as you hit the profit targets (while respecting drawdown limits). There's no maximum either — you trade at your own pace.
Is news trading allowed?
Yes — news trading is fully allowed on all challenge and funded accounts. We don't restrict when or how you trade.
